This is NOT USB3 - see pictures. The adapter (black) doesn't have the 5 extra pins that are seen in the USB3.0 cable (blue/black). The adapters work, but do keep in mind that these are not USB 3, you will not get the high-speed communication with these.

It's USB 2.0, there are none USB 3.0 contacts. So the seller lies. Charging works, data transfer didn't tested.
