I bought the tape for exactly what it says it does. First of all, it sticks hard and shallow. Make no mistake about it, as in the photos, the material is plastic and either melts and sticks to the iron at high temperature or does not stick to the fabric at lower temperature. Iron the material of the pants, etc. (if not plastic) with the hot iron with the repair tape placed under it and it comes out better, even if far from perfection.
