A Japanese watch brand designed and manufactured under the concept of ‘High quality watches at a fair price’. [Name of product.] The Phantom II model was planned to commemorate the service of the F-4EJ/EJ Kai (F-4 Phantom II), all of which will be sadly retired between 1971 and 2021.

[Development history]. The oldest fighter belonging to the Air Self-Defence Force, the F-4EJ Kai Phantom II. Its history is quite long, with the first aircraft (No. 301) being imported in July 1971 and operated for about half a century until March 2021. On the occasion of the retirement of all aircraft, we were able to enter into the development of the F-4EJ Kai Phantom II by obtaining the cooperation of the Ministry's Staff Office, in addition to interviews with the personnel, in the hope that the history of the F-4EJ Kai Phantom II over the past half century would be passed on to future generations through watches. The model was also born in 2021, when the Phantom model was regrettably decommissioned due to many requests for commercialisation at the Air Self-Defence Force's air festivals. The watch is equipped with a Japanese-made solar movement with an operating time of approximately six months under fully charged conditions. The dial uses the symbol of the F-4EJ Kai Phantom II ‘Phantom the Spook’ mark against a background of the proud Air Self-Defence Force emblem. The second hand reproduces the aircraft markings shown in the cockpit. The back of the watch is engraved with the words ‘PHANTOM FOREVER’, which refers to the operational period from 1971 to 2021 and the wish that it will be handed down to future generations. The aircraft number ‘F-4’ is designed on the inner ring of the dial at 4 o'clock and on the crown. The belt-fastening clasp at 6 o'clock is engraved with ‘PHANTOM’. The entire watch is based on the image of the F-4. The belt is made of CORDURA fabric to bring it closer to the aircraft's livery. The fabric is so resistant to water repellency and friction that it is also used in military equipment. Stitching in the centre strengthens and tautens the belt, making the wear and tear parts tougher to handle.
